Liza Mügge is associate professor in political science and director of the Amsterdam Research Centre for Gender & Sexuality at the University of Amsterdam.
Her research expertise includes political representation- and equality, intersectionality and transnationalism. She is PI of the project ‘Misrepresenting Diversity? Identity in Politics’ (2017-2022) funded by the Netherlands Organisation for Scientific Research (NWO).
Liza was residential fellow with Netherlands Institute for Advanced Study in the Humanities and Social Sciences(2016-2017), the Women and Public Policy Program at the Harvard Kennedy School (2014-2015) and visiting scholar at the Minda de Gunzburg Center for European Studies at Harvard University (2012).
